Good And Bad...

Well once again, I have fell behind on my blogging and commenting! I finally was able to get that darn comforter to dry by stuffing it into the washer and placing it on "spin" cycle. Once most of the water was out, it went into the dryer, but do not fear, I stayed with it the whole time praying that the machine wouldn't explode:p Yes, it came out a wrinkled mess, but that's okay...At least its clean! So glad all of you laughed so hard over my stupidity:)
Gosh, it seems like so much has happened since my last post! Found out yesterday that my younger sister is getting married in October...I do not say this excitedly however...This is such a long story so I will refrain. Took Bella to the pound on Monday only to return home with her after being told that she would be put down that day, due to an over flow of animals...Yeah, that's another long story that I'm SURE your trying to understand seeing as Bella is my baby. I will try to post about that soon. Just know that it worked out after a very stressful night and morning full of tears...Excitedly, my older sister has a love interest, that just MIGHT be interested back after seven months. Too soon to tell though:) Had my $350.00 coach glasses chewed up by my puppy right along with my second phone charger...This is not the reason she was taken to the pound mind you:p managed to build a pretty nasty knot in my shoulder blades which is causing a lot of back pain and neck pain. I'm getting it from my runs I think. I need to focus more on staying loose and agile:p Other then that, not much else to report! My running continues and in fact, I have come to the idea that I need to start building through the week instead of going after 4 miles each run...I hear how a lot of you start off easy then build and build until Sunday where you do a long run...I'm gonna try this and see how well it works!
Tomorrow Robert has PT but then is off for the rest of the day! We're going to see if my glasses can be salvaged first, then we're headed to the beach at Calloway Gardens for some fun in the sun:p I hope you all had a fabulous Tuesday! Tomorrow I plan to make my rounds on everyone's blogs and and beg for forgiveness; I've been gone for too long, once again:( Catch you chica's later;)

A Puppy Post!

First, I wanted to thank ALL of you for commenting on my job dilemma. Everyone was so sweet and supportive. I think I have decided to look, like you all have advised, but also put even more effort into learning my s***, if you know what I mean...I haven't actually heard those words of being "let go" from my DM. That was just my manager speculating, so until I get the word from the big guy, I am going to just keep trying my hardest and hope that it'll be good enough!
Secondly, many of you have asked numerous times about Bella, since I've gotten her, so I've decided to make this post about my little urinating angel:)
Four days after we adopted Bella I, with leash in hand, took her to the leasing office and with the payment of $250 and an agreement of a $10 puppy rent every month, Bella Bell became a legit resident of these Georgia grounds! Now she can legally poop and pee:) She has settled in nicely all except her wishy washy dedication to peeing outside. She has stopped waking me up four times during the course of the night and backed it off to two, phew! I was a little worried that she would interfere with Robert's much needed sleep, but that has since vanished. He sleeps so hard that he never hears me get up with her. I broke her habit of wanting to play in the wee hours of the morning each time we came back in from peeing, because momma wasn't all about that! She is such a diva! The little thing just lays out flat every time we're on her two mile walk and she gets tired:p I notice dead weight on the leash and naturally look behind me only to see Bella being dragged along with her two front legs under her belly and her hind legs stretched right out! I guess that is her way of protesting? Lol...She refuses to walk on the hot pavement, and will not poop in public areas...Sighs...However, she brings a lot of joy to my life and also has calmed our devil cat WAY down. I guess he was craving someone to play with and boy does he have it! Bella never leaves him alone:p She is so full of energy and very loving. She absolutely LOVES people and other dogs. Although, today when I had her out, one tried to attack her! She yelped and ran behind my legs. I was angry at the dogs owner for allowing his dog that close knowing he was not friendly....RWAR! Momma bear coming out here:p So not wanting to make this post any longer, enjoy the pictures below:)

Getting her to take pictures with me IN them is rough...Here she is trying to get at my glasses:)
I'm so smart. Put a doggy bone in the shot and she's occupied enough for me to get a flash in!
"Ummm, no I wasn't just chewing on your decorative pillows, I SWEAR!"
" And no, I wasn't just chewing on the cat, phsssh."
Obviously mommy never taught this baby girl to chew with her mouth shut:p

Have a great rest of the evening everyone!
P.s. I took my running outdoors and made it 2.75 miles! Not anything near what I ran on the tread, but definitely an improvment:)

Me IN My New Frames, As Promised:)

Well, as promised, this is me in my new specks! Wow, what a difference ladies; I can see so clearly now:) I'll be looking at anything/everything and pull my glasses down to see the difference without them and woaha, it is ten times more burry...No wonder I was feeling like my head was being messed with all the time! I seriousy don't think the eye doctor new what she was talking about when she said I didn't need them all the time. Unless dealing with blurry vision everyday is considered alright just as long as you can see it fairly well...hmmm...

My Fabulous New Frames!!!

So these are my new designer frames from Coach! I love the brown and light blue design on the inside:) kinda adds a girly touch I think.

So after my exam today I was told that I definitely needed glasses but they didn't recommend contacts at this point because I only need them while driving at night and when I feel like my eyes are getting tired, yadda yadda...I was actually suprised that my eyes weren't worse off then they say they are. So we'll try glasses seeing as their easier to put on and take off at this point:p I didn't think that I was going to look good in glasses at all, but I suprised myself! I really do look smarter and feel a tad bit sexier, ha ha! Gosh, they sure are expensive little pieces of plastic though or maybe it just feels like they are becuase I do not know good prices for such things, yet:p With lenses and frames, an extra exam for the testing of potential blindness, glare coating for the lenses AND a nifty little bottle of solution to clean my glare coated fabulous coach frames/lenses the total was 334.00...That feels like a lot to me but not sure if it is? Anyhow, I feel better that I went and now know that I don't have anything wrong with me, just a touch of old age and not so good (eye) genes:p I will be sure to take a picture and post it once I get them in! Thank you all so much for your input and advise!! It was a definite help and I now don't feel so scared about getting contacts once it comes to needing something more often in my day:p

Some Randomness And QUESTIONS!

Well crumb....Just got home from work and I'm starving so I decide to cook this wonderful gourmet meal of mac'n'cheese... I certainly must be tired because what do I do? I go to pour the noddles and then realize that I dumped all my cheesy powder in instead, turning the water a nice murky orange....Ugggg...Guess I'll have to settle for plain ol'noodles and butter....again...Oh yes, this has happened before...
Gosh, I think two days is a record for me not posting, so far and I've missed everyone! I'm definitely going to be catching up on y'all this week so be looking for my comments! I had a great weekend with my hubby although I had to work yet again...Sighs...and didn't get that much time with him...But at least I got some so I'm certainly not going to complain! Somewhat out of fear that I'd be B!&@# slapped by all you girls who's men are deployed and would kill for even an hour...My momma didn't raise no fool:p I had a split shift on Saturday so I went in at 9:00 am then left at 2:00 pm. only to return at 9:00 pm later in the even to work until closer to 1:00 am. We had a game day sale to prep for and we needed time that customers weren't in the store to do it...We normally don't work that late, thank God, However because of that shift Robert and I got to go see the new fast and furious movie together!!! Ohhhhh it felt so wonderful getting to just sit there with him and unwind! Ever notice that you can be completely happy doing whatever just as long as your together:) Anyhow, the show was great y'all. If your a fan of those movies you definitely NEED to watch this new one!!! I loved it because there was so much intrigue this time around. Granted there was intrigue in the others too, but this ones just different...Plus all the old actors are back! So just watch it:p
So a quick question for y'all would be, what should I decide on my eye doctors appointment tomorrow? I can't decide whether to get contacts or glasses and here is why. Glasses are too easy for me to lay down and loose while contacts, I'm scared, might irritate my eyes...I don't want to waste the money on contacts if I'm just going to hate how they feel and not use them anyhow, while I certainly don't want to loose my glasses ultimately wasting that money anyway......deep breath....Any thoughts? Contacts or glasses and why?
So ANOOOOOTHER question I have...There are four important birthdays coming up all in the space of three weeks from now, but the one I'm really having a hard time with is my hubby's birthday! It is this Friday... We've talked about what to get him and he just says that guys arn't that into romantic gifts and would rather practical gifts...Do you agree with this? his suggestions are either new floor mats for his truck or Guitar Hero Metallica...I really want to do something memorable for him because we've never been able to be together on his birthday, up until this year. He'll be driving in on Friday night so I think this calls for something special, don't you? Then comes the question of what I should do for him and when...Friday night won't work because he never arrives before midnight and I work this Saturday from 2:00 until close and then he leaves out again on Sunday around 2:00 pm. I thought maybe a nice picnic or something? Or is that cheesy...Any suggestions would be great! I'm so open for input at this time it'd be hilarious what I'd do for it:p Thanks y'all, in advance, for your wonderful ideas and comments!

SO EXCITED!!!!

I'M SO EXCITED! I get to run tomorrow!!!! My muscles have healed enough to where I should be good for another mile run or so...I'm taking Samantha's advise over at A day in the life of an Army wife's blog and drinking plenty of water tonight...Would make sense that well lubricated muscle's tend to work better:p I'm anxious to see if the mile feels easier and if it does, I'm going to do a victory dance and then run another half a mile:p Seriously though, any advise from you more advanced runners would be so appreciated as I'm completely serious about making this a passion...I am already falling in love with my progress and the idea of running races!

So some of you might remember the post I wrote about on my eyes and going to the doctor...Well yeah, I kinda sorta backed out of that appointment last Friday and never went...I have this large tendency of making at least three appointments and backing out before I'll actually go. This morning I made appointment number two:p I spent a lot of time in the hospital during the ages three and six, so much that I just hate spending even more time in them...At least that's what I tell myself and everyone who asks:p So, today I think it finally hit me how important going is... I've had major eye strain all day with dizziness that's making me nauseous; Every time I look at something new its ALWAYS blurry until my eyes have the chance to focus on the subject...So this might be my first time ever of not canceling three times before I go!!!

It is 11:30 p.m. and the mint chocolate chip ice cream sitting in my freezer is calling to me! Is it true what they say about not eating after 9:00? I've aways wondered because I do this a lot seeing as I work nights and am starving when I get home, however it doesn't seem to bother my weight much...Could be my metabolism at this point, so maybe the chocolaty mint chips need to wait for the morning as you know what thy say, indulging when your young bites you when your old! I certainly don't want, ekk ekk ekk (insert stabbing knife here) to happen to me:p So before I decide this particular pain is worth the pleasure, Goodnight to you ladies and I will see your beautiful faces in the morning!!!

Mystery Solved

So I've been dealing with a mystery for sometime now... About a year ago I started experiencing a lot of light handedness, feelings of fainting, dizziness and my vision blurring. It got really scary when these attacks would hit me while I was driving; mostly when I was really tired or driving at night. The road would feel like it just slipped out from under me and I was about to crash because I couldn't bring my lane back into focus. When it started happening I immediately went into detective mode and started the process of elimination by trying different things to see if it helped. The first thing I started monitoring was my eating habits and throwing a few vitamins into my daily routine. I am embarrassed to say that I used to have an eating disorder of a sort. I considered myself boarder line anorexic from the age of thirteen to seventeen. I say borderline because I had the mind set of an anorexic girl but I never could get my body looking like I wanted. I was never happy...But then maybe that just means I was full blown because that's what they all think:p Anyhow, I no longer starve myself but those five years created some really bad eating habits so I have to watch myself. When I get into a busy part of my life, I will just stop eating, but not really meaning to; I would just rather sleep, get things done, and whatever else over eating...Well I quickly found out that the problem wasn't my eating because I was still having the attacks.
The next thing I looked into was my water intake...I am horrible about this ladies, but I have gotten better ever since R and I married...He is a huge H20 nut and swears by the stuff:p His mom apparently instilled that into him and his sister growing up...So the first thing I did was start chugging bottles of water and Gatorade and kept this up for a good three weeks...I hated that I ran to the restroom every ten minutes but that was better then the attacks if this was the problem...Was I dehydrated? No, that wasn't the problem either...So instead of going to the doctor like most I just gave up and tried to live with these waves of scariness...Well its been, like I said, about a year sense it all started and I think I have finally solved the mystery. Yesterday, while I was sitting at the food court on my thirty minute lunch, I was staring off into the distance at one of the shopping stores, one that had a huge blue lite up sign that shouldn't have been that hard to read, but there I was staring at it fighting to see it clearly...I thought to myself, wow, when did my eye sight start getting so bad? I went back to work and again noticed it, I was across the store doing some work when one of my co-workers started talking to me, I looked up to acknowledge that I heard him and realized that his face was all blurry and he had grown a third eyeball! That's when all of this confusion about my attacks started to make sense! I think I need glasses:p I immediately text my husband and told him what I had realized, so we are headed to the doctor this weekend to check things out...He wants to start with a doctor first just to make sure there's nothing else wrong, but I definitely think its just my eyes...I'll keep y'all posted. Also, I wasn't sure, but for all you military ladies, do you know if our medical covers vision too? I only know about medical and dental...
